Agnès and Nicolas created and run the legendary Jardin des Sambucs in the Cévennes, while Jonny Bruce, for two years gardener at Great Dixter, is now a nurseryman in the Netherlands Agnès and Nicolas have made garden of many delights near Le Vigan in the Cévennes. http://www.jardinsambucs.com After a walk down to the stream, they are resting, looking at an original Christmas ornament made by Agnès from a compressed ball of cotinus seeds with a bit of juniper.

On January 23, Jonny Bruce came overnight. A Cambridge graduate in fine arts, he chose to become a gardener; he worked for two years at Great Dixter, working as a trainee also in Italy, Japan and Russia, and now on the Riviera.
