By road
Whichever direction you come from –Montelimar, Pont Saint Esprit, Aubenas, or from the south, Avignon, Barjac Nîmes, Alès, find the Departmental road D104 linking Alès and Aubenas. At the town of Lablachère (situated north of Lablachère Notre Dame south of Joyeuse) there is a big roundabout. Take the road leading to the centre of Lablachère, (30km zone) a crossroads where five roads meet.
Take the road opposite the one you come in on, D4, the signs says « Planzolles” et “Payzac” among others. Less than 1 km outside town, turn left, the sign says “Payzac”, on road D207. Follow signs uphill for Payzac (6km).
In Payzac: You will reach a T junction in front of the village grocery-café Le Comptoir de Payzac. Turn north towards « Planzolles, Faugères » etc. still on the D207. In less than 2 km, there is a stone cross to the left of the road, a signpost Croix de l’Elze on the right, another sign high up on the left says “Rousselonge”. That’s the name of the hamlet I live in. So at this junction, turn right, opposite the cross.
POST GPS: From the D207, it is 850m to my house. Stay on the same road, (if in doubt look at the road surface). The first section is paved, then on the flat part, it’s a dirt road with potholes (big eleagnus hedge to the right). The paving then resumes for a short stretch.
Where the paving stops for the second time, just before the mailbox with the number 670 on it, you have three choices:
1) Go straight ahead towards the house you can see clearly, between two upright stones, this is the Mas de Rousselonge. Park in the open spaces at the top, the entrance is on the east side of the house (big open terrace, bench sculpture)
2) Turn right through a rusty open gate and go downhill to where my car should be parked, this is where I live. Walk downhill a bit more to a lantern. The entrance is down a stone paved slope, big round arched door. There is a doorbell in the door frame. Ring and be patient.
3) The third option is to veer left and go downhill to the neighbours’, don’t do this!

The residence upper right, my house upper left, about 150 m away.
